The photovoltaic plant in Creil has reached 150 MWp
The Creil project reaches another major milestone with 150 MWp now operational
Since February 2025, the solar project developed by Photosol at the Creil site has continued to ramp up and has cemented its place among the group’s most iconic solar projects.
Following the successive commissioning of Creil 1, Creil 2 and then Creil 3, a new decisive milestone has just been reached. Within 48 hours, two new chapters have been written:
- 1 April 2026: commissioning of Creil 6.2;
- 2 April 2026, the commissioning of Creil 5.
Ces deux mises en service successives représentent 75 MWc supplémentaires injectés sur le réseau électrique, portant désormais la puissance totale du site à 150 MWc.
These two successive commissioning events represent an additional 75 MWp fed into the electricity grid, bringing the site’s total capacity to 150 MWp.
A pace of progress that demonstrates Photosol’s ability to deliver
Beyond the technical performance, this latest milestone demonstrates Photosol’s ability to manage complex, large-scale projects to ambitious deadlines, with close coordination between the various teams involved.
Every stage of the project required significant collective effort:
- strategic decisions taken within tight deadlines;
- rigorous management of operational contingencies;
- continuous coordination between teams.
This dynamic illustrates the strength of Photosol’s integrated model and the group’s ability to advance several phases of a major project simultaneously.
Heading for 202 MWp
This new milestone marks significant progress, but development of the site continues. The target of 200 MWp of installed capacity is now fast approaching, confirming Photosol’s ambition for this strategic project.
Through Creil, Photosol is once again demonstrating its ability to develop large-scale, high-performance photovoltaic infrastructure that creates value for local communities, whilst actively contributing to accelerating the energy transition in France.
