Supporting innovation and inclusion in the world of agriculture with ESA
Photosol, committed to the agriculture of tomorrow
Since 2024, Photosol has supported, with the financial backing of Rubis, the endowment fund « Le Campus des Agricultures » of the École Supérieure d’Agricultures (ESA) in Angers. This fund is dedicated to the training of professionals in the agricultural and food sectors to face the challenges of today and tomorrow. In this context, we support two strategic research chairs:
- The chair on the transformations of the agricultural world, created to develop research on the social and economic transformations of agricultural worlds and to give them better visibility. The research of the Agricultural Mutations Chair particularly focuses on agriculture – the professions, the industry, the social integration of activities, and development dynamics. The Chair also looks at the interactions between this sector and rural life, i.e., its relationships with other professions, other social groups, and forms of collective life in rural areas.
- The chair on women in agriculture, which aims to increase the visibility of women in the agricultural sector and enhance the attractiveness of these professions for them. It focuses on several axes: strengthening the visibility of women in agriculture by raising awareness among young people and highlighting research on their role in the sector, promoting female entrepreneurship and excellence by supporting business creation/takeover projects and female research, and mobilizing stakeholders by sharing common issues and fostering shared governance within organizations.
This commitment reflects our desire to support the evolution of the agricultural world in connection with our own energy and societal challenges.
